brontez would NOT start a fight for no reason. the brontez i knew as a young baby gay who stalked their queer idols was that more often than not brontez could be found in underpants handing out hugs on stage with gravy train!!!!

I’ve been annoyed by this beezy since her first single’s blatant and rude exotification of lesbianism. I was offended by the homophobia in u r so gay and thoroughly appalled that she thought california girls was the west coast equiv of empire state of mind but this… now this transphobic shit right here, my friends.
i can officially say I hate this fuckhead
Answer:
ummm….

please, oh please wise one, do tell me when i ever said the phrase that’s retarded was ok, really though, lemme know when you figure it out because if i’m lucky maybe i can finally get a refund for all the therapy my mom paid for during years of being called “faggot/homo/dyke” and having my developmentally delayed younger sibling made fun of because i was just “offended”
#you're doing it wrong #haterz #lolz #homophobiayes, we know, ‘gay’ isn’t a synonym for stupid. but ‘gay’ isn’t the only word commonly used as an insult that is rude.
The definition of dumb is being unable to speak because of deafness. So every time you say something is “dumb” you’re insulting a physical handicap. Same thing with saying…
to everyone who liked and/or reblogged this with positive commentary: congrats you’re nitwits!
because guess what! most people who take offense to the phrase thats so gay; dont use words like slutty or retarded. so you can argue the semantics/etymology of dumb all you want but the truth is its rooted in an abilist view and no mass group of deaf people has ever been killed because people hated them for their deafness. have protesters crashed the funerals of deaf people because because they were dumb? do kids have to worry about being open about who they are because someone might call them dumb? NO so until you get your pithy argument together sit the fuck down shut the hell up and learn something before you go trying to
silencedis-empower already oppressed people.ETA: i also think my syntax got a bit confusing i wasnt really trying to say that either word was worse than the other but that they arent comparable, like someone who reblogged this from me mentioned there are queer people with disabilities and they are often mistreated doubly. i myself am a queer ftm who spent my first few years in school alongside children in wheelchairs and with severe emotional issues because in the 90s the school system did not acknowledge that children could be gifted AND have learning disabilities (i’ve got dyscalculia and pretty severe adhd) so from age 7 when i started school onward through 6th grade i went to school getting called “a retarded fag” on the playground nearly everyday. ironically, the same administration that stuck me in a classroom with children who couldnt even read was having mensa representatives come to our school to interview myself and another classmate (whos now in med school kicking ass and taking names) for possible membership. they also had my iq tested yearly; at 9 it was around 130 and yet I was still a retarded faggot to everyone else. this dichotomy continued for years and when it was time for my little sister to attend school it just got worse (she’s got cerebral palsy and at the time wore leg braces and frequently drooled)
yes, the oppression olympics screws up everyones life and i dont think i had it any easier than my sister or anyone else but i think acknowledging the tiered levels of oppression does help us think of ways to change its practice in society and not to excuse anything

Yep, it’s real trendy to be a part of a group of people who don’t even have basic civil rights.
I don’t think it’s become trendy. I think people are just getting more comfortable with themselves. can we not trivilize people’s identities? Thanks.
Actually, it is.
Scene kids: Bisexuality
Hipsters/Tumblr: Pansexuality
A “trend” that people have no idea about and blindly follow.
