I’m so sick of this “fuck the poor” propaganda. And don’t even get me started on the racial angle of using fried chicken for this bullshit!
Even if the prices were accurate (please tell me where to $1.96 chicken breasts!) it’d still be bullshit, but I looked up the prices for fun, or something. 2011 price for a 10 piece bucket, 2 sides, and 4 biscuits is about $16.99 and here’s a screenshot of a grocery order with all the stuff above from my nearest grocery store (which is more expensive than walmart, but I wouldn’t subtract more than $10 for the difference). That came to $46.69.
